Letterpress + A company I would thoroughly enjoy working for

Invented around 1450 by Johann Gutenberg, letterpress was once the normal way for printing books, newspapers, posters, etc. Many commercial printing presses went out of business when digital litho, offset, and screen printing took over the market. Boxcar Press is part of the revival group to protect this traditional relief printing method, printing fine art jobs, music records, poetry, invitations and any digital file you submit to be made into a plate. Based out of Syracuse, NY, their mission is to promote sustainability and quality printing.
